Question: Tampon question!.!?
hey i'm ten years old and iv'e had my period before and i use pads but i HATE them!. can i start using tampons or am i too young!?!?!? if i'm old enough to use them can you tell me how to use one!?!?!? my mom is fine with it as long as i'm old enough or whatever!. i'm 4'11 and 97 pounds!. and you can report me if you want because i am just using yahoo for this question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you've started your period you're old enough!. I started when I was about 10 too!. Granted, it could hurt a lot and probably will at first, but they are so much more comfortable after a while!. If you look inside the box they have a sheet that tells you and shows you pictures of how to do it!. Make sure you put it in far enough because it can be very uncomfortable if you dont!.

use tampons when ur ready, get slender ones, to put it in you put the large part of the applicator in (the part that has the actual tampon in it) until you can only see the plunger (do this with a mirror at hand) and when youve put it in far enough just push the plunger as far as t will go, pull the applicator out and presto! welcome to the wonderful world of tampons!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
10 years old is way too young to be using a tampon!.
I know pads aren't fun!. Make sure you are using a good name brand with wings, and you can use personal wipes to help you feel cleaner!.

and i personally think it's fine if you use tampons at your age, as long as you know what you're doing and are safe

You can start using them now, but use the ones that are made especially for those who have a petite body structure [[I believe they're called Playtex Slimfits]]!. When you buy them, they'll have detailed instructions and a diagram inside!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
They have extra slim ones meant for teens!. The package explains how to insert, it takes practice though and you may waste a few as you are learning!. Make sure to change them very often and you will be fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com
tampons arnt a great use especially at your age!. just to let you know they can cause blood clots and i wouldnt advise you to use them there not recommanded by doctors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
