Why is this affecting me so much?!
Question: Why is this affecting me so much!?
About a month ago I found out my bf's sister has breast cancer!. I was shocked because she is quite young (in her 30s) and it struck a chord with me because both my grandmothers are breast cancer survivors as well!.
What is strange is I don't know her that well (met her twice so far) but I feel really affect by this!. I know how much she means to my bf and how close they are, and he seems to be taking it quite well considering the circumstances!.
I've been trying to be supportive but I also feel very concerned by it!. Sometimes I get teary-eyed when I think about it and today she had her surgery and I've been anxious and choked-up all day, worrying about her!.
I asked my bf to let me know how she was doing when the surgery was over, and we're going to visit her this weekend together!.
I don't want to overstep my bound, but at the same time I really care about her even though I don't know her that well, and I feel really affected by what's happening to her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
