Question: Can I skip the sugar pills and start a new pack!?
I'm 17 and on Ortho Tri-Cyclen and I'm going on vacation the week I'm supposed to get my period!. Also if I don't skip the pills for this month my period would be present for my first day of school in September!. The main reason though, for skipping my period this month, is that my boyfriend and I are planning on losing our virginity together in that time space and I obviously don't want to be on my period!. My only real trouble here is that if I DO start the new pack up a week early I think I'll run out of my pills a week before school starts and I get them at the health center there!. Ugh!. What would you say is my best option here!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should call your doctor up and ask, not YA!.
You can always lose your virginity some other time when its not "that time of the month"!.
Even if you try this, you may still end up getting your period and you will end up screwing up your cycle!.

just start a new pack and when your nearly finished taking that pack phone up and book and appointment to get some more pills,if you do try and skip your period though it may not work,you may experiance spotting or just bleed normall,if this does happen its perfectly fine,

If you have recently started the pills and decide to skip the sugar pills, you still may bleed because it is too much hormones!.!.or something like that!. I tried that a couple of months ago, and bled anyway and my cramps were horrific!.!.word of advice!.!.don't skip the pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can skip your sugar pills and you will not have a period!. Make sure you take your pills at the EXACT time EVERY day to make sure you do not get pregnant!. Also, make sure he wears a condom!.!.!.!.I got pregnent when I was on the pill, so it can happen!!! Are you sure you want to lose your virginity!? Sex isnt all that great!. It isnt what its made out to be on TV or the movies!. Guys usually last a few minutes, and thats it!.!.!.!.its over!.!.!.are you willing to have just 2 minutes of something that isnt that good, and possibly get pregnant!?!?
