Question: How come I feel so emotional from birth control pills!?
I started feeling very emotional ever since I started taking birth control pills a week ago!. Did I take it at the wrong time or what!? thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The pill can do that to you!.!.!.!.you didn't take it wrong!. It comes along with many other lovely side effects as well!. When I got off mine about a month ago, I felt great! haha!. the side effect i suffered from the most was a decreased sex drive!. boo! Maybe you should try a different kind!? I was considering going on the shot to hopefully avoid those effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
birth control pills work by altering the hormone levels in your body, and your hormones can affect your emotions!. (For example, when you are excited, nervous, or scared your body produces high amounts of the hormone adrenaline, and you become energised and sometimes shake!.) Everyone responds differently to hormone treatment, when I was on the pill I was fine while I was on it and then when I stopped to have my period I became increasingly depressed until I had to come off the pill completely!.
