I'm in my mid twenties and have been with him for almost two years!. In the very begining I remember him feeling large when he was inside me but it was never painful!. Now, its almost like I'm a virgin again!. We make love a few times a month, but lately, it's been painful!. He has a very large girth and even though we use lubricant its difficult to put it in!. It feel like my area is stretching too far!. Its seems laughable that the problem is that its too big, and not the usual too small!. I just want to enjoy sex again!.

- Having sex more often than a few times a month might help your body stretch and remain stretched!. Sometimes when I don't have sex for a while, it feels like I tighten up again and it feels like the first time!.
- Try more foreplay before penetration!. Your vagina expands when you're turned on, so maybe you just need a little more time to get ready for him!.
- The NuvaRing may be irritating your vagina, causing sex to be painful!. Consider switching birth control methods for a while (2-3 months) and see if it helps!.

Did sex start hurting after you started the nuva ring!? If it did that could be the nuva ring!. I would consider a different form of birth control then if you realize it's from the nuva ring!.
You could just be too dry, but you said you were using lube!. soo!. it's hard to say!. Maybe your just not aroused enough before sex, and your already worried it;s gonna hurt!. Well, pain durning sex is never good, so consider seeing your gynocologist just to be sure!. But is the problem just getting in, or still painful when he's inside!? Sometimes after i dont have sex for a while (anywhere from a week) i feel tight at first, like he's strenching me out, but once he is in then its fine and smooth!. We sometimes have trouble too and use lub and i am younger than you so its nothing to do with your age!. Hope this helps maybe try switch lubes and using lubercated condoms if you have trouble!.
