I have dance class in an hour, gotta wear leotards and tights and nothing else [i dont have dance pants and shorts are not allowed i think] and i got my period today!. what am i supposed to do!?!?!? i cant go to the store to get tampons right now so someone plzzzz help!?!?!? One of my best friend's is an avid dancer- hours and hours of classes at a time- she only ever misses them if she's physically sick from her period!.
She just wears a pad and says that its normal!.
I remember wearing lycra shorts in my PE school days and being embarrassed, but then I realised it's natural! And how many other girls will be having that same problem right now or next week or so!
If you're embarrassed then tell your friends if you can and ask if they can see anything!.!. but don't worry! Everyone goes through it!
Also, you say you don't think shorts are allowed- bring some and try! Worse comes to worse and you're not allowed!

Or if you can't bring yourself to- try and get some tampons from a machine in the bathroom, or skip the class

Okay, I had the same problem when I got mine the day of my ballet class!. Ask your mom if she can go to the store asap and get you some!. Or if she is at work call her and tell her Aunt Flow (your period) is here and you need some tampons!. If you want ask your sister (if you have one) or your mom if you can borrow a tampon!.
If you have to, call your dance teacher and ask if you can wear some shorts (cotton if you have them) for personal reasons and wear underwear and a pad under them!.

you have no choice except to wear a tampon!. Leave now and on the way to class stop and buy some!. when you get to class go to the bathroom and put it in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
