I can safely say NOT TRUE AT ALL!!.
I had like 3 growth spurts after i started my period and went from short to adult height and ive known others to have the same thing!.
But i think it is different for every girl but for me it wasnt true at all!.

This is not true at all!. Girls can have their first period any time between age 9 and 17!. And we dont stop growing until we're in our early 20s!. Dont worry, you're not done growing just yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
