It does sound like PCOS but there could be many things wrong!. Is there any chance you could have caught and STD!?
Your description is so vague!.
Its good you have gone to the GP, I suffered with PCOS for years and after 6 operations, I lost both my ovaries!.

The pressure feeling could well be pelvic congestion from not having regular periods!. The pain could be to do with cysts or folicles on the ovaries, but only an ultrasound can tell you this!.
You can have polycystic ovaries without the syndrome, and PCOS is a combination of symptoms, you don't have to show them all!.
Wait for your diagnosis, ask to see a gynaecologist if this is bothering you!.
If it is PCOS, the implant is not a good choice for you!. Regular bleeds are needed to stop the pain and build up of pressure and the possibility of cysts!. A pill such as Desogen/Marvelon can be very good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
