Of course you can ask your doctor!. He/she is a great person to discuss this with!. Don't be embarrassed at all, doctors are used to getting questions about things like this (you'd be surprised how often they get asked!)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first thing you should try is use a tampon with a plastic applicator (they go in a lot easier) and put some KY lube on it to help it slide in easy!. If you are still having problems, tell your doctor!. You can talk to your doctor about anything!. If your situation is beyond your doctor's ability, he/she will refer you to an OBGYN (girl parts doctor)!. it is important to go through your regular doctor first because you will need the referral if your medical insurance is going to pay for an OBGYN!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could be inserting it wrong, when I used my first I had to put a mirror down and stand over it so I know I was putting it in the right spot!. If you still have the problem do tell the doctor and if she can't do anything about it she will be able to refer you to a doctor who can!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can ask your general doctor about it!. The doctor may refer you to a gyneocologist but you should never be embarrassed to ask your doctor anything!. Also he may have a nurse try to help you!. Take your tampons with you when you go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might try using some lubricant on the tip of the tampon, be sure you are using a small type!. Be assured that this is probably the easiest question you'll have to ask the doctor about female stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that's what the doctor is there for!. you shouldn't be ashamed to ask the doctor anything!. the more you ask, the more you know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can ask a doctor anything i ask my doctor random thing just cause im bored go ahead and ask!.

try smaller tampons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you should just relax when you put one in becuase really you should not be that smallWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is appropriate!.!.if not the doctor, maybe a female adult friend that you know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just stretch it out!. Put a finger from each hand in your vagina and PULL!!!! Don't stop pulling until you here a rip!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That question is perfectlly fine to ask your doctors!. Believe me, doctors don't judge you, they have seen and heard it all!. You can ask your doctor anything, that is what they are there for!. As far as your problem goes, it could be that you are using tampons that are too big, try smaller ones, and try different kinds!. I like the plastic kind like tampax pearl, they seem to slide in easier!. Also, its best to wait to put one in until your flow is heavy, if you are just barely spotting and try to put one in it will hurt and will feel uncomfortable because you are dry!.!.!.!.you could also try the OB ones, which are super small and you put them in with your finger, not an applicator!. Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

So you want to know if you need surgery so that you can use tampons!? Have you tried using a mirror when inserting a tampon to make sure you have it in the right place!? The vaginal canal stretches and unless you have a hymen that covers up the opening to your vaginal canal using a mirror should help you!.

It could be that you are using the wrong tampons!. First timers should always use juniors or lites and should definately always use the plastic applicators with the tapered ends!. Get a box of Tampax Pearl or the Tampax Plastic or Playtex Gentle Glide (I don't have personal experience, but I've heard they're good for first timers) in juniors or lites and try using those with the instructions that are given in the box along with a mirror (Tampax actually recommends using a mirror)!.

If that doesn't work, then yes, you can speak to your GP about this!. He/she can tell you what to do or can refer you to an OB/GYN if necessary!.

Good luck, sweetie!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well I take it your not sexually active yet, but that is a good thing!. Some of us just cant wear tampons!. I was bad and lost my virginity at a very young age and never had any problems in highschool, but after I had my son I cant wear them!. the doc says my uterus had dropped lower than it used to be!. Some women have this problem without having a kid!. Everyones body is different and we all cant do the same things!. It took me a while but i got used to pads!. If you get the good, thin kind they arent bad!. but i wouldnt have surgery just because you cant wear a pon!. And maybe try the smallest ones they have, but you will probly have to wear a pad or a liner with that cause it wont give you very much protetionWww@Answer-Health@Com
