Hi Hayley!
Okay, I'm going to try to answer all of your questions to the best of my ability!.
First of all, do NOT wear a tampon when you're not on your period!. Wearing a tampon when you're not menstruating opens you up to the risk of getting Toxic Shock Syndrome, which is a rare, but deadly disease caused by wearing tampons for longer than 8 hours or wearing a tampon absorbency thats too great for you!.
If you want to be prepared just incase you start your period during your travel, the only thing that would be okay for you to wear is a pad, pantyliner, or menstrual cup!.
Tampons are completely okay to wear in the pool!. Tampons and menstrual cups are the only feminine hygiene product thats suitable to wear in the pool while a woman is menstruating!.
A good tampon I would recommend for you to buy is Tampax Pearl Compact Multipack!. They're great for three reasons:
1) They're easy to insert because the applicator is made of smooth plastic!. Hence the "Pearl" in the name!.
2) They're half the size of a regular tampon + applicator because the second tube is located inside the first tube!. Hence the "Compact" in the name!. This is very good because it will take up less room in your suitcase!. I've even been able to get away with storing one in my shoe!
3) They have three different absorbencies to fit your period!. Hence the "Multipack" in the name!. They come in light for light days, regular for in between days, and heavy, for heavy days!.
Change your tampon every four to five hours, but never exceed eight!. That will put you at risk of getting Toxic Shock Syndrome!.
When you have to use the loo, you don't have to remove the tampon!. Just hold the string out of your pee stream's way and do your business!. When you're having a bowel movement, the tampon should not come out if inserted correctly!.
In the pool, it will last as long as it will out of the pool!. Four to five hours, but never exceed eight!. :)
Also, I do not suggest wearing a tampon to bed at night unless you sleep for less than eight hours or you're willing to set a ringer to wake you up in the middle of the night to change your tampon!. At night, I like to use Always Overnight Pads because they're long, they have wings, and they stop leaks no matter how much you move around in your slumber!.
One last tip for you is: If you're scared you might leak while wearing a tampon, wear a pantyliner on your underwear just in case!. Once the tampon has absorbed all it can, the blood will drip on the pantyliner!. However, pantyliners (as well as pads) can not be worn in a pool!.
Well, that's all I have to offer you!. I hope I didn't make you read too much!. :) Have fun on your travel!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes u can wear them in the pool, they are very reliable for that!
i'd recommend Tampax tampons are easy to use because of the applicator!.
U change them as often as needed due to ur flow, u can do this either every time u visit the bathroom, or every other time if u can get away with not changing it!.
U do not have to remove it to use the bathroom its securely in there until u remove it!.
And again in the pool it will last as long as it can depending on ur flow, its not going to fall out or anything in the water if thats what ur maybe thinking!!!
Gd luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

They say that they last 4-8 hours!. You should probably start off with a small one and change it regularly, before trying the "super" ones!. You can wear them swimming but I would say change it directly before and after swimming!.
You don't have to take them out when going to the toilet, but just hold the string out of the way!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, first of all yes you can wear tampons in the pool and it doesn't matter which brand but make it a good one with an applicator for ease and comfort!.
It is wise to change them every 4 hours!.
Just enjoy yourself and try not get too self conscious as they do work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes its ok to wear them in the pool : )!.!.thats what they are somewhat meant for!. they need to be changed ever 2-6 hours depending on how heavy your flow is but should not be kept in longer than 6 hours!. no you don't have to take them out when you go to the bathroom!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes you can wear them in the pool!. and change them every 4 hours or sooner depending on how heavy the flow is!. you can use the restroom without changing them everytime!. but if you started it last year you have had a few periods, shouldnt you know some of this!.!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampax applicators are the best, yes you can use them in the pool just make sure you change them every 4 hours or as soon as you leave the pool and you can stil go to the toilet normally!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons are really necessary if you are going into a pool!.!.!.I wouldn't want to be in a pool with any number of females and half have their period and not using tampons!.!.!.not too appealing for me!. Start with the junior variety that have plastic applicators as they are easier to get in when you are not used to doing so!. Change your tampon every 4-6 hours and use the lightest absorbency you need for your period!.!.!.that is if your period is light use a lite variety!.!.!.a little heavier then you use regular etc!. You will find that if you are in the water that the tampon will absorb some water so you should change it as soon as you get out as you will probably leak through it if you don't!. You don't need to take tampons out to pee!.!.!.the hole you pee from is not the same hole where the tampon goes!. Don't wear the tampon for any longer than 8 hours overnight as there is a risk of toxic shock syndrome!.!.!.which is rare but you never know!. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi tampons are fine to wear anywhere and many advertise that they can be worn whilst swimming (this needs to be a personal choice whether to swim or not)!. All tampons are tested for efficiency but you may want to go with a known brand name for peace of mind and change them every 4 hours or less!. No you do not have to change them everytime you use the toilet but if you do go in the pool remember that it will soak up the water so needs changing more frequently and certainly after you come out!.
I hope this helps in some way, relax and enjoy your holiday!.xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Yes you can wear a tampon in the pool!. You should choose the smallest size tampon that will accomadate your menstural flow!. You should change your tampon at least every eight hours, but you may need to change it more often than that if your flow is heavy!. I would also recommend changing when you get out of the pool because they will absorb a little water when you are swimming!. You do not have to change your tampon each time you use the bathroom!. Just hold the string out of the stream of urine!. If your flow isn't really haevy your tampon will probably last you 4-6 hours in the pool, though you can change it sooner if you like!. As far as brands of tampons I prefer Tampax Pearls, they have a plastic applicator which is more comfortable, and a braided absorbent string for extra protection!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey! if you think you may get your period you can use a tampon just in case to avoid any accidents!. You can have a tampon in for a max of 8hrs but you should be changing it every 5 or so!. You do not need to take a tampon out to go to the toilet unless you are wanting to change it, The tampon should be inserted up about a fingers length so you wont feel it when moving/ going to the toilet etc!. you have said that your period is now getting a bit more heavy so i would recommend using the regular tampons so you don't have to worried about leakage, there are many brands to choose and you may find the slim or mini regular tampons suit you best as they are extra small in size for easier inserting!. When swimming you need to change your tampon a bit more often, I would recommend every 3hrs when in the water!. Just remember to relax and enjoy your holiday every woman on earth has had a period so it is a very normal part of life :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
