HPV and buying a house?!

Question: HPV and buying a house!?
I had my papsmear last January!. It was NORMAL but HPV detected!. To my surprise, I also had warts which went away quickly with Aldara!. My dr said that the warts were caused by the HPV that was detected and that I should go back in a year!. I decided to return in 6 months because I was feeling a sensation (like the way I feel right before my period, but it wasn't my period)!. I was told I had some kind of bacterial infection but nothing to worry about (it went away with medicine)!. I also had another papsmear which this time came back ABNORMAL!. I will have a colposcopy in a week!. I am VERY worried!. My whole life I've been very careful, I always asked for condoms and std tests to the FEW boyfriends that I had (one of them broke up with me after I asked him)!. I feel very frustrated and sad because all I've gotten from men is a virus and my heart broken several times (men in their 30's don't want to commit to relationships)!. I am now single with no desire to be in a relationship!. I am 34 yrs old!.
Now that I am in the process of buying a house I get those sad news and I feel like I shouldn't buy a house!. I have been getting these negative thoughts of me dying so I shouldn't bother to buy a house, or that I should stay in my cheap apartment so that I have money to pay for future cancer treatments!. I read A LOT about HPV and I know there is a big chance that I might not have cancer or pre-cancer, or even if I have it, there is a big chance of getting cured!. But I can't help to think negatively because I feel very sad!.
There is NO cancer history in both sides of my family!. Should I get cancer insurance after what happened to me!?
Should I buy this house that I found while feeling uncertain about my health!?
Can you share with me real stories after having a colposcopy and biopsy!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
a colposcopy and biopsy is a bit scary especially when you never had one before!. they put a solution on your cervix and any areas that look funny they take a small piece of tissue from the area!. for some women it really hurts and for others it feels like cramping!. my skin is very sensitive so for me it did hurt a lot!. it feels like a sharp pinch!. it's quick though and is over fast!. just try to keep yourself relaxed or it will be more uncomfortable!.
your body may clear the HPV in time!. in most cases that is what happens!. since you are getting checked out chances are you won't get cancer because anything abnormal that shows up will be checked and treated if necessary!.
i know how you feel about men and getting the virus!. i was careful too and didn't have many partners and it still happened!. it's okay if you want to be single!. it's a big thing that just happened to you!.
you don't need cancer insurance! stop obsessing about the cancer issue!. it may NEVER even happen to you!. cancer is worst case and in a lot of cases it was in much older women or women who didn't get regular pap smears!.
i have HPV and it took eight months to clear out of my system, or at least go dormant!. i had four biosies and my pap smear never went past ASCUS!. i get checked every year!. i have been HPV free on my pap smears for four years!.
if your doctor is not overly concerned then you shouldn't be either!. a biopsy is always routine for abnormal cells or when HPV shows up with abnormal cells!.
don't put off your life over HPV!. believe me, i know how you feel and life stopped for me for a while too but it doesn't have to!. keep yourself busy, stay positive, and go to your gyno when you should go!. HPV is something that it seems more people have it then don't have it these days!.
you will be okay!. this is no guarantee you will get cancer! go on with your life!. stay healthy, eat right, and keep your immune system strong!. stressing so much over this won't help your immune system either!. don't read too much on HPV unless it's from a trusted site!. there is a lot of articles out there that are inaccurate and simply designed to scare you!. I can't share a story with you, but, seems they've caught this early!. I'm sure everything will turn out okay, and maybe you shouldn't buy a house!. Not right now anyways, just in case!. But i think everything will turn out for you alright in the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Buy your house, and live your life this does not mean you will get cancer!.!. Don't put living your life on hold for this reason!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Colposcopy is nothing!. It makes the tissues of the cervix sluff off!. You will be just fine!. Go buy your house!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

HONEY!.!.!.wait, wait, wait!.!.!.dying!?!!?!!?!!?!!? Just because you've had an abnormal pap smear with signs of HPV does not mean that you'll get cervical cancer or that you're gonna die!.

Second of all, normal STD blood tests are not designed to catch Herpes Simplex II or HPV (sad but true)!. Those two STDs are usually diagnosed after cultures are taken in the affected area!. Using condoms is no protection against either (a friend of mine found that out the hard way and now she has a gift that keeps on giving for life)!.

I had a colposcopy and biopsy seven years ago!. I came back normal in every pap smear that followed up to that!. I had another abnormal pap a couple of years later and I was tested the forms of HPV that cause cervical cancer (did you know that there are numerous kinds, but only certain ones cause cancer!?) and I came up negative!.

Honey, don't look at this like its the end of your life!. You are only 34!. Yeah, sometimes we're handed a raw deal in life, but that doesn't mean that we should allow it to keep us from achieving our biggest and best dreams in life!. Please keep positive and, if necessary, go get some counseling to help you deal with this!.

Good luck and Godspeed, sweetie! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Buy your house and invite me to your housewarming!

Exactly the same thing happened to me last year (although i bought my house 10 years ago!)!. I had an abnormal smear and had to go for a colposcopy, and ive had a two normal readings since which means they have got all the bad cells out!. The chances of it coming back now are actually very small! when bad cells are caught early enough, they usually only need one treatment!. And even if they do come back, they can just get rid of them again!. Thats why we have smear tests, to find the changes early on, so that the chances of us getting cancer are practically nil!. It takes 10 years for bad cells to develop into cancer, if they were the sort that would develop into cancer in the first place, so as long as we keep up to date with the smear tests, we will be ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OH wow honey, you are freaking out about nothing! I have the same thing!. Did you know 8 out of 10 sexually active people in the US has an STD of some kind!? That means that if you have sex with anyone, they are MORE LIKELY to have and STD than not!. SCARY HUH!?

Look, the colposcopy is a bit on the ouchie side, but it is over quick!. THE BEST thing you can do is stay on top of this!. I have not had a normal pap in YEARS (im 28)!.

Another thing is men cannot tell that they have HPV because they do not show any symptoms sometimes (WHICH IS WHY IT IS SPREADING LIKE WILD FIRE)!. There is no approved test for men to check on HPV so, there really is nothing you can do!. Also, HPV is spread by skin to skin contact so using a condom does not really do much to help that!. (same with Herpes)!.

My advice is to buy your house!. You are not going to be in Chemo or anything silly like that!. You are not going to get "sick and die" from this!. This is just something that you have to stay on top of and unfortunately that requires paps, and biopsies and annoying stuff like that!.

Also - educate yourself on HPV but STOP looking at Cancer!. YOU DO NOT HAVE CANCER!. YOu are just scaring yourself and stressing yourself out which can actually hurt your chances of beating the HPV quicker!.
