Question: Can you swim with a tampon on!?
i dont have a very heavy flow, its medium!. im leaving to the bahamas in 6 hours and my period is supposed to start in 2-4 days!. can i wear a tampon while swimming in the pool or ocean!? will i leak!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should be fine as long as you change the tampon every few hours, depending on flow!. Once you get out of the water, you will 'leak' water that gets absorbed in the string, but it's not a big deal!.
I recommend playtex-- not tampax!. I know it sounds cheesy, but the commercials are right-- playtex opens and expands by width which prevents leaking, tampax expands by length and can allow leaking!.
And in order to prevent some embarassment, be sure to tuck the string in carefully ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is the benefit of tampons, you can swim in them!. You don't have to worry about leaks if you are in the water!. You will need to change it every 4-5 hours!. Never put in a tampon until you have started your period!. Good luck, enjoy your vacation!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes u can, in a pool or beach, taking a shower, and even going to the bathroom (i dont like doing that i always chnage it when i go to the bath room) but u can!.!.!.!. and if ur afrad ur going to leak ware a super one!. good luck and have fun!Www@Answer-Health@Com
that is one of the best things about using a tampon is that it allows you to do everything that you normally do!. Except sex!!! make sure you pull it out first or you will be trying to dig it out laterWww@Answer-Health@Com
