CAn you feel a tampon if it is in correctly?!

Question: CAn you feel a tampon if it is in correctly!?
I just tried using a tampon for the first time and I can always feel it! I even use the "slender" type too!. I have a swim meet on Saturday and I was wondering if it would be okay if i didnt wear anything because water supposeovely stops the flow!. Advice please!!! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Water does not stop the flow!.

Chances are you're not using the tampon correctly!. You need to get some lubrication and put a small amount on the application part that you will insert into you!. Sit on the toilet and lean forward until your chest is almost to your knees!. Put one hand with tampon down between your open legs and RELAX!. Push the applicator in until you feel your fingers touch your vagina!. Then push the application/release inside you until it goes ALL THE WAY in!. You need to RELAX the whole time!. Lubrication will help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well if its in correctly and its pushed all the way in you really shouldnt feel it, but i would definitely wear a tampon to your swim meet!. water does stop the flow but only when you're actually underwater!. the second you come out the pressure of the water will stop and your period will begin again!. it may feel a little uncomfortable wearing the tampon, but it would be a lot more uncomfortable to have blood rushing down your leg at the pool! make sure you follow the directions on how to insert it!. you may just feel paranoid about it because it is your first time but you really shouldnt feel it at all if its in all the way!. Hey okay tampons are so difficult the first times using them!
It takes practice! After a couple times of applicating a tampon you will soon get, depending on the size/absorbancy of the tampon you might feel it!

Try: Playtex Sport (regular) they are slender and easy and great for sports!

And the water actually doesnt stop the flow! It sometimes makes it lighter or nothing at all!

If you have any more questions ask your mom or go to theses sites they know everything!

GOOD LUCK!.

Tip: when you dont have swim meets - wear a panty liner with your tampon just in case! Once you get the tampon in right you most likely wont feel it!

Relax when inserting!

Water will not stop your flow so yes, you need a tampon!. I probably havn't put it in correctly, you shouldn't be able to feel it!. It sounds funny but putting in tampons takes practice!. You probably didn't put it in all the way!. I would suggest wearing a tampon until your swim meet to get used to having a tampon in and putting one in!. Good luck at your swim meet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you shouldn't feel them hardly at all! make sure you have pushed them in all the way when you first put them in!. I know even now i sometimes don't get them in all the way and it hurts!. make sure that you are always wearing them!.!.!.even when swimming!. as long as you have a flow, you should wear them (make sure it's the right absorbency for your flow also) for example, if you are using regular and you have to change every 1-2 hours then go to the next absorbency!. you should be able to have them in for about 4 hours until you need to change!. If you are using a super and after 4 hours it still isn't soaked!.!.!.you need to go down an absorbency!. Understand!? hope i helped Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah water does stop the flow, but it's better to wear one then have a little leakage when out the pool waiting to swim etc!.!.
if your using it for the first time then you will be able to feel it!.
but if you continue using it every time you're on your period then they will become more comfortable and you wont even notice them :)

if u can feel it then no its not in correctly!. try pushing it in alittle farther or not quite as far!. just try different things until its comfortable!. ull get it soon enough!. and not wearing anything for the meet, well that depends on how heavy your flow is!. water does NOT stop your period!. so if u have a heavy flow dont go without anything!. best of luck to you though! =DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Initially, yes, but after a while you should get used to it!. (It shouldn't be uncomfortable!.) You don't bleed a lot in water because of the pressure, but as soon as you get out you'll bleed!. Consider a menstrual cup

i hope that helps!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've never tried a tampon, but I know that you aren't supposed to feel it if its in correctly!. And water actually DOES NOT stop the flow, and don't listen to anyone who tells you that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try inserting the tampon standing up with one leg on the toilet thats what i did my first time, but insert it pointing the tip towards your butt do not insert it directly up or forward towards your stomach!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You won't have it in correctly then!! Try taking it out and putting another in!. Don't worry it will take a few tries before you get it correct every time but practice will make perfect!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've worn tampons for 23 years, and I've always felt my tampon!.

BTW, water does NOT stop your flow!. You will bleed into the water and contaminate the pool with your blood!.
