if you feel more comfortable talking with your brother you should talk 2 him first, im sure he will understand what your going through and it will bring u guys closerWww@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, sweetie, you are so brave! I understand how you feel; I grew up in a household mostly of men!. Fortunately, I had a sister to help me!. But that's okay, what you need to do is ask your father to take you to get pads!. I would suggest regular or a mulitpack if they have it!. When starting your period for the first time it is not regular, so just to be on the safe side, buy different kinds!. Your father will help you, despite both of your uncomforts!. Then, I would also suggest seeing your school nurse or a female teacher you really trust!. These people will not let you down because they know what you're going through!. Periods are not so bad, besides, studies show chocolate helps smoothe your hormones!. Do you need a better excuse to eat chocolate!?! :) Take care honey!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you would feel more comfortable telling your brother then you should tell your brother, and then have him tell your dad!. you should pprobablyask them for pads to cause when you tell them you've started your period they might not think about that stuff and you might get to scared to ask again about that kind of stuff so I would do it and get it over with lik say "hey uhh (your brother or dads name) i think I started my period today and I need some pads" so that they don't find out by finding blood on your jeans cause you ran out of pads!! I hope I've helped and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

tell whoever you feel comfortable telling, but make sure they both know!. if you just tell them what you need, then it wont be weird in the future!. if you tell your brother, it might also be good if your dad knows, that way in the future it doesn't have to be a big deal when you need to go get some, and you don't have to worry about secretly getting them!. once he knows, you won't have to talk about it or worry about it, it will be just like another item on the grocery list!. i used to be embarassed when that happened to me at my dad's house but i'm not worried about it anymore!. it's not weird, it happens to everyone!. and im sorry about your mom, that must be tough :( but i hope this helped and good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Aww!.!.!.sweetie I'm so sorry about your mom!.
Let your dad know, that way he'll always know what to do!.

Get some pads from the store!. Preferrably "Always" pads!.

Just let your dad know that your menstrual period has started for the first time and you need a pad!

It happens to every girl and we have to go through it!.
I hope you know how to use them, if you don't, just stick them on your underwear!.
Get ones that have wings, they're better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are not comforstable enough to ask your family members try asking your close friends!. Or if they are not just a phone call away just go out with it and tell your dad or brother!. If your dad is responsible enough to know that this happens to girls he will be prepared for it!. Don't worry! You could also try crying in front of him and have him guess what is wrong!. I don't know!.:) Just don't worry about it, and you have to tell someone!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

im so sorry about your mom!.

just ask your dad if you can go to the store real quick or even ask your brother if it makes you feel better to drive you to the nearest walgreens or something!. ask them to wait in the car while you grab what you need and then they you or they dont feel awkward as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

im terribly sorry about your mom!.

i got my first period on a ROAD TRIP with only me and my GRANDPA!. i couldnt see my mom again for like another week!. bleeehhh so i can almost relate:]

guys dont like periods!. if you just say "hey, i need to go to the store to get some pads, i started my period" he wont ask questions, he'll just take you!. its a guy thing i guess!.
dont be worried!

both your dad and brother know that girls get periods just as well as you do!. it wont be as bad as you think!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I understand what your going through, I went through almost the exact same thing 20 years ago!. My goodness that makes me feel old all of a sudden!. Anyways, I am sure which ever one you choose to ask will be very understanding and able to help you!. All you need to do is ask one of them to take you to the store!. When they ask why, simply say Girl Stuff!. They will get the picture without a lot of discomfort for you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Calm down it's a nautral thing!. I'm sure either one will understand!. Or you could ask them to drive you to the store because you got "the time of the month!." Either one will know what it means I'm sure either one will be willing to bring u to the store to get them!. It will be alright! (Even though they might not have any clue about pads or tampons!.) Need anything else let me know! Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you feel more comfortable with telling your brother then tell him!. Tell him how you are feeling and he will probably comfort you!. Guys understand and know about these things!. It's a normal part of life!. He will understand!. He's your big bro!. He'll help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
