Gardasil Question??????!
Question: Gardasil Question!?!?!?!?!?!?
I'm 13, and my pediatrician reccomended for me to have Gardasil!. My mom wants me to have it, but when my dad found out he went bazzerk!! He says the side effects are horrible, can cause parilazation, seizures, etc!. My mom and pediatrician got real mad, because they really want me to have it and I completely agree with them!. My parents are divorced and have shared parenting, so I can't have any medical procedures whatsoever unless they BOTH say yes, so unless they agree, I can't have it!. Who's right!? My mom or my dad!? Gardasil can help prevent cervical cancer, and is a great vaccine!. Of course, as with ANY medical treatment, there are risks!. There is a risk of seizures or paralysis, but the risk is very low!. As long as you have tolerated vaccinations well in the past, you should be okay!.
The best way to approach this is to sit down with your dad and acknowledge his fears!. Recognize that there is a very small risk of side effects, but the risks of the side effects FAR outweigh the benefits of potentially preventing cervical cancer!.

well i am 16 and i got my second shot like 2 weeks ago it hurts a little bit but nothing happened to me my dad said that they don't know if it really prevents cervical cancer but they know that it doesn't hurt you as far as your dad you could ask him to take you to the dr and get the information on it and let him talk to your dr i hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
I'm 13 and I just got my 2nd shot, like, a month ago and NO nothing happens!. Tell your dad to chill and it's YOUR decision!. The side effects are for people who have like health issues, if your a healthy 13 year old you should be fine!. Tell your dad that in the future this shot could save your life!! my mom isn't getting it for me, she told me something happened to a girl just recently!. i don't want it anyways cause i don't plan on having sex until marriage, so i don't think i need it!. do you plan on having sex soon!? if not maybe you should wait until you're like 15 or 16!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i got all 3 shots done, my last shot was in feb or march of this year!. and i haven't had any side effects!. i think you should talk to your dad about it, i think its a good idea for you to get even if ur not having sex yet Www@Answer-Health@Com
ok i have had gardasil and there wasnt any side effects accept that it hurt a little bit and it got swolen my moms a nurse and she said that was normal but those are the only side affects i had!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
