Question: Has anyone got the contraceptive implant Implanon!?
I'm thinking about getting it, but after reading about it on the internet Im not too sure!. Was just wondering if anyone has got it or has had it and if so have you had any problems with it!.
If you have had any problems, what were they and how serious!?
Did it hurt when it was implanted!?
I really appreciate your help!. My Fiance thinks it would be good for me to get it as I'm quite forgetful with my Pill!.

I was terrible at remembering to take the pill so I opted for this form of contraception and had it put in about a month ago!.
I have had no side effects apart from a bit of local irritation and itching but this has now disappeared!.
I have had no bleeding as of yet and am hoping that my periods will stop altogether, as this can happen with the implant!.
It didn't hurt when it was put in as they injected a bit of local anaesthetic into my arm beforehand and it was really quick!.

I would personally suggest the injection!. eek sounds horrible an injection doesnt it!? But i got this for a while as i kept forgetting to take my pill too!. You only need it once every three months and you cant even feel it, over in a second!.
