Answers:
Foods with a low glycemic index (low GI) will keep you fuller for longer and don't have to be fattening!. A small amount of complex carbohydrate, e!.g!. oats, wholemeal pitta bread etc before you go to sleep will stop your blood sugar levels dropping suddenly in the middle of the night!. Alternatively, eating some protein can help too, so a low fat fish stick, a bit of cheese or slices of ham might do the trick!. If you go to google and type in 'low GI', you will find many lists of foods in this category!.

Avoid foods that are too processed or sugary before bed because they will make your blood sugar really high!. This encourages your body to make extra insulin to combat this, causing the sugar levels to suddenly drop; this is what gives you the hunger pain!.

Also, review what time you are eating at night, perhaps you could be eating too early!? In this instance, you will need to eat something small before bedtime!.

Hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I often get this if I for some reason eat pasta!.!.!. I don't know what it is but I'll start feeling hungry with a squirmy stomach!. I've heard it's actually my stomach & intestines just working through the food and digesting and trying to restore natural pH levels in the body!. As a side note though, try not to eat right before going to sleep or in between sleeping as your body starts creating a chemical while you sleeps which starts to store your food as long term fat storage as opposed to short term - so stay clear of food when you're going to sleep!. Try to eat at least 2 hours before you go to bed!. Not sure if that helps!.
Also depending on what you eat, you might get hungry quicker, for example things with a lot of sugar don't last as long in your body and decrease your energy, wanting you to eat more!. So try to eat something like fruits or fibers if you do get hungry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
