Question: Do I need another pap smear if I take birth control for acne!?

I got my first pap smear last year and started on the pill for acne, and ONLY acne!. My one year prescription is almost up, so I called the doctor and they said it was time for my yearly pap smear!. I heard you only have to get those though if you are sexually active!. Is that true!?

So!.!.!.if I am not sexually active (which I am not), and am only using the pill to help with acne, do I need another pap smear!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should get one every year whether you are sexually active or not!.
check for things like cysts or cervical cancer or ovarian cancer!.
