Question: Is it okay to go in the ocean with a tampon!?
i just began using rampons yesterday!. i want to go to the beach today but afraid the tampon will get soaked and slip out or there will be traces of blood!. (how embarrassing)!. also, im going by myself and im afraid someone might steal my stuff (i know!.!.stupid)!. but has this ever happened to you!? any advice!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Common concern among women!. There is always a risk of leakage, but very, very minimal risk!. Go swimming and enjoy yourself!.
As far as leaving stuff on the beach while you enjoy the water!. Honest people will be honest and dishonest will be so!. If you have anything worth stealing, leave it home or in a locker if available!. Otherwise, if someone really wants something, they will get it whether your in the water, off on a walk or it is sitting right next to you!. Don't let the threat of possible mis-doings keep you from enjoying your life!. Otherwise you could miss an opportunity, a new friend, or love of your life!.

I live in FL 5 min!. from the beach and yes you can wear a tampon!. It won't be absorbed and it wont slip out!. (Seems like it would though, huh!?!) It won't leak!. Just change it every 4 hours!. And when we go we bring radios and cell phones and cameras and such and nobody ever messes with our stuff!. Of course cover up all valuable when away from the blanket just to keep temptation down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you go by yourself, i would suggest for your own safety not to go swimming!. Not only have the waters on the east coast been deadly for the last 10 days, but you'll have no one to look out for you in case something does happen!. No one will be there to alert anyone if you're in trouble!. Also since you're a new tampon user, give it some time before you take risks!. Tampons are body sensitive from my experience!. bring a friend you'll have more fun lol!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No one has never stolen my stuff and my tampon has never leaked when in water!.
Don't worry, just change it before you go in and after you've finished in the ocean, cos the tampon will soak up alot of the water!.
