I haven't started my period?!
Question: I haven't started my period!?
ok im turning 14 this year and haven't started my period!. In PE we have to swim and CAN'T use a tampon!. Its not even a option!. im worried that i will start during PE or something like that! Im NOT looking forward to start since my friends say its a pain!. How will i know that i will start!? Any tricks or advice if i start!? Any help would be appriaciated!.

That's alright, it just means that you're a late bloomer!. If you didn't get your period by the time you're 16, then you should tell your doctor about it!. Some people need to go on birth control pills to regulate their periods!.
And what do you mean you're not allowed to use one!? Is it that your family wishes that you do not or it has something to do with PE!? You can still use a tampon to swim!. You can have your Mom write a note regarding that you cannot use tampons and that you should be excused or something!. You can try using a menustration cup like a Moon Cup or Diva Cup instead which lasts for a long time and there is a low risk of TSS!.

Approximatly 6 months-12 months before your first period, you start getting this white sticky stuff which you can probably find on the crotch of your panties!.

nobody can tell exactly when you start but the main symptoms are:
-stomach cramps
-headaches
-tender boobs
-feeling sick
well when im on mi period in school on the days we have p!.e i tell the teacher im on my period and she says to try but that i can be excused if i feel ill so just tell your P!.E teacher and she'll understand or get you mum to write a note!.

Not everyone gets their period when they are 9-12 years old(that's when it normally starts)!. Heck, I didn't start till I was 12/13!. But there are women who start at the age of 16!.
