For those who use tampons regularly...!
Question: For those who use tampons regularly!.!.!.
I tried using a tampon yesterday for the first time, and yesterday was the beginning of my 8th period, and taking it out (since it was the first time, it was in for about five minutes max) it hurt like someone was tugging at the edges of my *cough cough* really hard!. Is this bad!? Should I try using tampons again in the future, or stick to the pads!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
No, it's not bad, but if you're going to use a tampon it's best to keep it in long enough to absorb some blood, and then it won't hurt to remove!. The dry cotton of the tampon was, in effect, stuck to the inner walls of your vagina!. So it's going to hurt a bit more than usual when you pull it out because it's dry!.
Tampons and pads are personal preference, so if you feel more comfortable with pads for now then use them until you feel comfortable enough to try tampons again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah I tried a tampon once!. That was a horrible disaster!. It turns out I accidentally tried to stick it up the wrong hole!. PAIN! Anyways, my cousin told me in case I tried again that one must be completely relaxed when they take it out!. Otherwise your muscles in that area will tense up and make it harder and more painful to pull the tampon out!. Also, you need to keep it in longer so it gets more slippery!.!.!.Tampax Pearl is good, when you're only twelve it's best to use the smallest ones for reasons of comfort!. Hope I helped, Sarah, and good luck with your period! Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well if it hurt it might not have been pushed in enough!!
Next time, make sure it's in very far then see how it feels!.
Yes, if you take it out after 5 minutes it will hurt because its not sort of absorbed enough so it will be kinda aquad to pull out!. It always says you should leave them in for 4-8 hours so try that next time!.
If you still aren't happy with them, just stick to pads for a while and go back to tampons later = ]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, don't take it out so soon!. Use the lightest absorbency possible, and leave it in at least for a couple of hours!. It won't hurt you!. You can even sleep with them!. It needs to become saturated, otherwise, the cotton threads will rub against the delicate skin in your vagina and cause tiny tears!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
well obviously if you took it out after 5 minutes it is going to hurt! its still cottony and dry! i would say to try using them again just because you'll like them so much more, but keep them in for at least 4 hours!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The tampon probably wasn't saturated enough!. Keep it in longer or use a smaller absorbency and you should be okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i would agree with the rest of the answers you have to leave the tampon in longer so it can absorbWww@Answer-Health@Com
