i just got my period and my bff told me that u get one more year of growth after ur period!. My period happened last month and this month regularly and now im scared!. Your bff is very wrong!. Women don't stop growing until their late teens!. Some have growth spurts in their early 20's!.!.!. It all depends on genetics! Your doc is probably right, you'll fall somewhere in the middle of your family heights!. I started my period when I was 11, and I'm not done growing yet (I'm 19 now)!. Generally, girls don't stop growing until around age sixteen, because that's when their bones set!. It could be a little earlier, a little later, but that's the general rule!. I was still growing at seventeen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
