I wanna go swimming while I have my period!. I just got my second one yesterday but I wanna try out tampons!. I don't know how to use them!. Can anyone tell me their personal experience with a tampon!? How do u insert it!? Is it safe!? Plz include everything I need to know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tampons are safe as long as you use them correctly, always use the smallest one for your flow, if its only your second period i would reccomend lites, and use one with a plastic applicator, tampax pearl lites or tampax compact lites would be a good bet, read the information inside it will tell you about toxic shock syndrome, its a rare but possible infection that can happen but as long as ou change your tampon every 4 hours you should be ok, and to insert it, hold the grip with your thumb adn fore finger, and insert it into your vagina, put it in at an angle as if you're pushing it towards the small of your back, one the top half is in all the way, push the bottom half into the top half, and remove applicator, if its in right you shouldn't feel it! and to remove it just pull the string at the same angle you put it in! there should be directions in the box of tampons you bought and just fallow what they say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
