I know everyone else gave you a long *** answer that they copied from a website, but while all those side effects are true you are probably less likely to have any of those if you've already had the first vaccine!.!.you said you're about to have the 2nd right!?

Although we're different, generally the shot works out fine you probably will have some swelling of where it was injected!.!.thats all the side effects I had with any of the 3 shots!.

Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with the Vaccine!. However, not everyone who takes the HPV vaccine will experience side effects!. In fact, most people tolerate the HPV vaccine well!. When side effects do occur, in most cases they are minor, meaning they require no treatment or are easily treated by you or your healthcare provider!.

There are several side effects with the HPV vaccine that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider!. These include, but are not limited to:

Very high fever
Signs of an allergic reaction, including difficulty breathing, wheezing, an unusual skin rash, itching, or hives!.

The HPV vaccine has been studied thoroughly in clinical trials, with many people having been evaluated!. In these studies, side effects are always documented and compared to side effects that occur in a similar group of people not taking the medicine!. Based on these studies, the most common HPV vaccine side effects include:

Pain in the area of the injection -- occurring in up to 83!.9 percent of people
Swelling in the are of the injection -- up to 25!.4 percent
Redness in the area of the injection -- up to 24!.6 percent
Fever -- up to 13 percent
Nausea -- up to 6!.7 percent
Dizziness -- up to 4 percent
Diarrhea -- up to 3!.6 percent!.

Other common side effects with the HPV vaccine that were reported in more than 1 percent of women include, but are not limited to:

Vomiting
Cough
Toothache
General ill feeling
Joint pain
Trouble sleeping (insomnia)
Stuffy nose!.

Side effects are extremely low!. That's good you are taking that vaccine! I know when I get my health insurance I am getting that vaccine regardless of possible side effects!!! Everything in America has side effects-don't you see the commercials of prescribed medicines!?!? The whole commercial is all about side effects on anything!. It's a small chance and the reason they have to list those is because someone reported it while taking the vaccine!. It could not even be related to the vaccine and have been from something else!. you may or may not have any side effects with your 2nd or 3rd dose!.

What are the side effects of GARDASIL!?

As with all vaccines, there may be some side effects with GARDASIL!. GARDASIL has been shown to be generally well tolerated in women and girls as young as 9 years of age!. The most commonly reported side effects included:

Pain, swelling, itching, and redness at the injection site
Fever
Nausea
Dizziness
Vomiting
Fainting
Fainting can occur after vaccination, most commonly among adolescents and young adults!. Although fainting episodes are uncommon, patients should be observed for 15 minutes after they receive the HPV vaccine!.

Well usually there arnt any for that particular shot alone!. But with some teenage girls, (this goes for all shots) there is a risk of passing out, redness at ingection site, and stomach illness!. But its worth it for an HPV shotWww@Answer-Health@Com
