Question: Crap! I think I MESSED things up! Please Help
Okay so, I just put in my very first ever Nuvaring today!. I started my period on July 29 and it ended a week ago!. The pamphlet said to start the first day of menstrual bleeding or the sunday after menstrual bleeding!. Does this mean that I will not get my next period, did i just mess things up with my cycle!. What should i do!? I hate to take it out and waste it it cost me FIFTY BUCKS!!!! What should i do now, what will happen if i leave it in!? I swear my pharmacist said i could start it at any time!? any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you leave it in for 3 weeks straight (at least) - you will be fine!. I would use a back up method for the first 21 days though just in case!. But you should be fine after that!. The ring actually has 35 days of hormone in it!. (the company doesn't tell you that anywhere)!. My midwife told me I could "play" with periods - leave it in for 32 days if I wanted!. But I only left it in for 21 days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

keep it in!.!. You will be fine!. I have one, it works great and is pretty forgiving if you leave it in too long or put it in a little late!. If you really want the "by the book" answer, they have a hotline you can call!. But trust me, you will get your next (!.) and all will be fine!.!.!. It's the best invention ever!Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you havent had unprotected sex during the week before you put it in your fine (for pregnancy reasons) Your timer will let you know when to take it out, and your period might be a little delyed, but other then that your fine!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
