Question: When will this end!? (another period !?)
Hi, I know these are a lot of question about periods, but today is the fifth day of my daughters first period!. it was light earlier, but now it has turned medium flow, do you know when she will end her period!? -marty jean bakerWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's hard to say!. Flow and duration of periods are very variable, especially when a girl is first starting!. If it goes beyond a week and a half I'd take her to a doctor to check her iron levels, and make sure everything's okay!. Some girls go onto birth control to help regulate their heavy/irregular periods if they become a problem!. She should see a gynecologist since she's started her periods, and they will answer any questions and make sure she's healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i don't know when she will end it as each person is different
but it does seem long to me
does she feel ill!? light headed or anything like that!?
if so, i'd take her to the doc
but if she doesn't, then i'd assume her body is taking care of itself
also, just some food for thought!.!.!.!.how do you know the flow amount!? is it from what she's telling you!? maybe she is only having light flow but thinks it's heavy!?

It's different for everyone so it's really not for anyone to say!. Just wait and see!. If it goes on for an abnormally long time (2 weeks+) then go visit a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When I first started my period they lasted about 5-7 days!. A few years later and they now last about 3!. I'd worry if it went on longer than 7 days but 5 is ok so far!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
