Okay I love going to the beach and I just started my period!. How can I get my mom to let me use tampons!. (shes not that kinda of mom that would say yes)!. Cause I really wanna start using them!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you could just not ask her, and use them yourself!. It took me a while to be able to get them in, but i figured it out on my own after a couple tries!. If you really dont want to go behind her back, then you could just ask her nicely saying that if you use pads you are not going to be able to live your normal life and it isnt fair, and you could tell her that all your friends are wearing tampons and they say that it is so much better, because it is!Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are health issue that can be associated with tampons and doctors and some moms don't feel young girls should use tampons!.
I think it depends on your age!.
If your older than 15 I think its up to you!.
Maybe talk it over with your mom!. Or compromise telling her its just for the beach maybe she'll change her mind!.

well i haven't gotten my period yet but when i do i will trust my mom to know that this is somthing i like to do (go to the beach) and in order to be a woman i want to try diffrent things out

Just tell her that you'd really like to be able to swim at the beach!. She should understand since you can't swim wearing a pad!. Have a talk with her and tell her your thoughts about tampons and she'll probably come to an agreement!.
