Does being vegetarian affect your period? for girls!!!!

Question: Does being vegetarian affect your period!? for girls!!!
Answers:
Itr certainly can if you're not getting enough iron (dark green veggies), fat (nuts, avocados, olives) or vitamin B-12 (which is almost exclusively found in animal flesh and can be difficult to get enough of without meat) but as long as your diet is healthy and you supplement it where needed, vegetarian eating won't change anything at all about your periods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it does not!. Even so, you must have B12 vitamin or you can get nerve problems and deficiency!. Just might need iron supplement or something also, you could get anemic if you bleed out and don't eat any meat (which has a lot of iron in it)!. So just supplement your diet you will be fineWww@Answer-Health@Com

it will if you don't eat well, regardless if you choose meat or plant as protein sources!. as long as you get enough protein, iron, vitamins, etc you will be ok!. my multivitamins are for vegetarians so it has some iron in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have been a vegetarian for over 2 years now, and I have never experienced anything differently!. It shouldn't be affected!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
