I woke up to a wonderful surprise this morning!

I'm going on a trip to ohio on monday afternoon (by plane) with my little sister!.
i'm 15, my periods are usually light, and last 7-9 days!. (except one time, i took a birth control pill when it wasn't needed, so it lasted 15 days!. oops)
1- how do i keep the flow light, and thin!? except for birth control pills!
2- will i be okay to go swimming!? (i use tampons, not pads) because we're going to a water park!.
3- what do i do with my used tampons while i'm on the plane ride!?
the plane ride is from 1:35PM- 2:50PM!.
4- if i bleed through any of my underwear, what's a good way to get out the blood stains!?

1!.) You cant really do anything about your flow!. I have noticed when I use tampons, my flow is a little heavier!. When you are on the plane ride, use a tampon and a pad for extra protection!. I suggest using Always overnight pads with wings!.!.!.those will give you GREAT protection!!! That way if you bleed through the tampon, the pad will protect you for up to about 3-4 hours!.
2!.) You will be okay to swim!.!.!.just dont jump into the water or off of a diving board!. The pressure of the water from jumping can force the tampon waaay up in there and you will not be able to get it out!.!.!. if you swim, do just that!. No diving or jumping in!. Make sure to check your flow about every hour if you can to make sure you dont have a mess at the water park!.
3!.) Your tampon should be okay if you flush it in the plane bathroom!. If you dont feel okay with that, then wrap everything in toilet paper and throw it away!. If you dont feel okay with that!.!.!.then bring little plastic baggies, wrap it all in toilet paper and place them in a bag, seal it up, and put it in your purse until you get off the plane and can go to a real restroom and flush it or throw it away all together!.
4!.) bring an extra pair of panties and shorts with you!.!.!.keep them in your purse or carry one so you always have them with you!. Like I said before, I highly advise that you wear a tampon and a pad on the plane ride to keep from bleeding through!. The pad will catch what your tampon cant hold!. If you do get stains, it is best to soak the stain in cold water over night!. Throw them in the wash when you can!. If you arent able to wash them, atleast try to soak them!. 1!. You said your flow is already light, so it should be that way on the plane, too!.
2!. Yup, tampons are great for that!.
3!. The plane ride isn't even two hours, just change it before, you'll be fine!.
4!. Hand wash it first in cold water and a good soap, and make sure to scrub the stain!. Then put it in the wash!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
