Question: Why would your gyno call you!?
I go to an army hospital as a dependant [husband in army], and when you get a papsmear, they send you a letter with your results!.
however, i had a message on my machine a week ago asking me to call the doctor, but i forgot, it just slipped my mind!. and then i had another message yesterday when i got home, i have to wait until monday to call though!.!.!.!.

A doctor's office that normally sends letters sends them if everything, absolutely everything comes back normal and nothing is out of the ordinary!. They figure you can wait for normal results, nothing out of the ordinary means you don't need to know!.
If they call you, it means your results came back and something is different!. It doesn't necessarily mean wrong!. It could be an abnormal result, or yes she could possibly be calling you to tell you that you're pregnant!. Don't worry about it, because stress can actually make you feel worse!. If you get stressed enough you'll feel crampy and nasty and worry more!. Call them Monday like you're supposed to and find out what it is!. There's no use worrying until you know!.
edit: Yes that could cause an abnormal pap!. They probably need you to come in and do another one, but you should inform them you're pregnant!. You're supposed to abstain from sex for 3-4 days before a pap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It oculd be that they have merely changed the way they inform you of test results!. And yes, the cervix begins to change quite quicky once you are preganant, including a thickening of the mucous on it, the color, etc!. Generally, pap smears are NOT done on preganat women however, as the process of a pap involves them inserting a tiny brush into the actual opening!. This can allow bacteria to enter the uterus, and can even induce a miscarriage!. Make the call on Monday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It could mean several thing!. Your pap be abnormal!.!.!.don't worry I had an abnormal pap 11 years ago and I'm fine!. Something messed up the test and they need to redo it!. Somehow she figured out that you were PG and wants to chew you out for not telling her before the pap, due to the fact that you are not suppose to have paps when you are PG!. Well they advise not to have sex a couple of days before a pap, it mean anything, they might want to tell you, you are pregnant in person (phone)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
