can you please tell me everything about the contraceptive injection ( i dont even know the name)

The jab is called Depo (for short)!.
You go every 11 weeks to have it done but it lasts for 12 weeks!.
You shouldn't have periods after you have been on it for a few months, but if you continue to have them, they are really light!.
When you first have it done you tend to bleed lightly for about a week (sometimes longer, sometimes not at all)!.
You can only be on it for 2 and a half years!.
