It sounds like your hymen (a small bit of skin at the entrance to your vagina) may still be intact!. The hymen is usually broken the first time you have intercourse or through masturbation, however this is not always the case!. The hymen is slightly stretchy and has a small hole in it, which explains why you can get a thin carrot or your fingers in there but not anything thicker like your home-made dildo!.
The only way to really break your hymen is to be a bit rougher when you have sex or use your homemade dildo, it may be slightly uncomfortable and bleed a bit when it breaks but this is normal!. After it has broken you should be able to fit much larger objects into your vagina!.
Just google 'hymen' if you want to know more - there loads of info on the web!.

Try your hardest to relax all your muscles down there when trying to insert the dildo!. It might also help if you push slightly in the same way you do when you urinate (making sure you have an empty bladder)!.

Also extra lubrication may help you in using your dildo, but please use only the special lubes available in shops/chemists/discount stores and not any home alternatives eg!. butter, shower gel etc as these can irratate your vagina!.

Oh and by the way please ignore all the idiots who have answered and said you are wrong for using homemade dildos!. As long as they are kept clean, they are perfectly ok (not to mention much cheaper than shop bought dildos)!.

Hope this helps x x xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ever heard of ripping the walls!? Popping the cherry!? For that homemade dildo to go deeper, you would have to do that!. And yeah, it's pretty painful for girls!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you a virgin!? If so, that's normal!. When I was a virgin, forget a dildo or 4 fingers, I couldn't even get 2 fingers in!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem!.
Are you a virgin!? Maybe that's why!. Or maybe the dildo needs to have a more pointed end!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why don't you stick to your fingers and wait for a man to show you why we are better at this kind of stuffs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a carrot!!!? wtf!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wow! Don't you have any girlfriends you can discuss this with!? lol

Um about that homemade dildo!.!.!. Please don't say it's a cucumber, that could break off inside you!. Your best bet would be to buy a real one online, that's what they are used for!.

You could have a septum in your vagina which causes a wall to separate your vagina in two!. It would be easy to stick fingers up there cuz they can bend and maneuver to fit the shape of your body but something thick would not work!. Have you had a vaginal exam yet!?

Also, you might just not be that big yet!. Have you had actual intercourse yet!? It takes time to stretch out the walls of your vagina that's why it causes so much pain for the first few times you have sex!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
