Breastfeeding and periods.!

Question: Breastfeeding and periods!.
I have a question about periods while breastfeeding!. I just recently gave birth to my son about 5 months ago and have been breastfeeding him since I gave birth to him!. Still am!. Just recently I have been feeling incredibly odd!. I admit!. It does feel a lot like pregnancy symptoms from time to time!.

I have incredible bloating feelings and no bleeding!. The closest I had was a little pink on the tissue when I used the restroom!. I'm also having problems with certain smells again and it makes me want to throw up!. I've also had troubles eating and drinking things!. My husband and I went to Mcdonalds this morning and usually I eat everything!. Today I could hardly eat anything!. Even the smells in there was making me sick!. Not to mention I've been SO tired again lately!. I also have hypo thyroid problems which could be causing my tiredness!. So, this is very hard for me to figure out right now!. The question I have is!. !. !.

Has any of you experienced these symptoms when you were breastfeeding and was getting ready to start your period!? I'm thinking maybe my body is trying to either prepare itself to work back into cycles!? Please help me out!. I'm actually going crazy now!. I don't understand why I'm feeling this way!. I'm a first time Mommy so all of these new symptoms while breastfeeding is new to me and not sure what to make of it!. I'd appreciate all the help I can get!. Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pretty much this same thing happened to me!.!.!.I had my first son and when he was 4 months old I started get really sick and every smell made me want to barf!.!.!.I was strictly nursing and not on birth controll!.!.!.However I had not had my period at all since the deliver of my son!. Anyway I tried to wait it out for a week, but continued getting sick daily and not feeling rested at all!. I was really scared that I could be pregnant since my son was only 4 months old!.!. But Took at at home test and sure enough I was preg!. It was hard to tell how far along I was since i Hadnt had a period!. But You coulddefinitelyy be preg!. I would suggest that you do take a test!.!.!.!.You can get preg, while nursing, and without actually having a "period" you still menstrate!. You just dont bleed!. Good luck, I am now preg with my 3rd I am going on 8 weeks!. My two boys are a year and one month apart!. It does get stressful at times but they are the best of friends!.!.!.It will work out if you are preg!.!.!.!.I hope it works out well for you and your partner!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That sounds to me like it could be nothing but pregnancy really, these certainly don't sound like PMS symptoms!. You can DEFINITLEY become pregnant while breastfeeding if you are using it as your only form of BC!. Take a test as soon as you can, good luck!:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i breastfed and didn't have those symptoms have you taken a pregnancy test because it sounds like you are pregnant again you can get pregnant while breastfeeding even if you have not started your periods againWww@Answer-Health@Com

if it feels like pregnacy symptoms and your're getitng sick, you maybe, sorry to say, pregnant again, if you're getting sick like that, that could be the answer, i've had family members that has happened to, the tiredness could be from the thyroid problem, my dr has talked to me about so of thos problems as well, or it could be just the newness of motherhood (or another baby if not your 1st) that weighing in on you!. as for the period, it's normal not to come, i breastfed for 9 mths and when i stopped, then i had my 1st since the baby was born!. take a home pregnacy test, and take it easy, don't push too hard and get plenty of rest so you won't be too tired to gie your little one time (and your hubby) Www@Answer-Health@Com
