Question: How do I get my clear skin back after using Nuva Ring!?!?
I have been on the pill for years and my skin has always been clear - no problems!. About two months ago I tried out the nuva ring, and loved it, but my skin was horrible! I broke out so badly that after a month I switched back to my regular birth control!. I figured my skin would be back to normal, but I am still breaking out!. Has anyone else experienced breakouts on the Ring!? Any advice on how to get my clear skin back!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I switched from the pill to the ring, too, because my doctor said it was a lower hormone dose (because its released gradually, rather than all at once, the amt of hormone in your body is more consistent)!. I didn't have any skin problems, but in the past, when I switched between BC methods, I have experienced skin problems and other hormonal types of problems!. I think perhaps what you're experiencing will subside after you stay on one hormone dosage for awhile!. It sounds like you switched to the ring, switched back the very next month, and it hasn't yet been a month since then!.
Go with OTC skin treatments for now, and try to ride it out!. If its still happening in a month, talk to your doctor about a lower hormone dose!. Sounds like your body is rebelling from all the sudden changes in dosage!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have never used the ring, but have had trouble keeping my skin clear while using the pill!. I found that proacitiv does work wonders!. I purchased the 30-day trial and I use it three times a week instead of everyday!. You should look into it, and maybe try it out!.
