ok!.!.!.so i have hair down there and my bf wants to have sex but we are only 13 years old and i don't know if i should shave down there or not to!. I have been trying to postpone the sex!. i need to know if you are supposed to shave before you have sex or do you just keep it as it is!. I'm really scared because i don't want him to think i am gross if i don't shave!. What should i do!? Please help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Who cares what he thinks!. Why don't you start listening to what you think!. What I hear you saying is that you are postponing sex, which to me says you aren't sure you are ready to!. You should listen to your voice on that one!.
Shaving is a personal choice and there is no right or wrong answer!. There is nothing wrong with keeping pubic hair, shaving it or trimming it!. It should be your choice and based on what makes YOU happy!.
If you are going to have sex you should spend more time thinking about birth control and STI prevention!. You might think about the consequences to sex, not just pregnancy and STIs but also how it will change your relationship (it will) and what you will feel like when people find out (because they will)!. Most girls are shaved or trimmed for their first time - but they are usually 14 or older as well!. If you don't want to shave, try trimming!. If that isnt good either, then leave it as is!. He wants sex, and he probably doesn't care too much either way about the hair!. It won't make a big difference to how it feels for either of you!.

I agree with everyone else that says you are too young!. Please, please think about what would happen after! Getting pregnant would be bad, but so would all of the emotional things that happen after sex!. First times can be painful especially if its his first time too and he doesn't know what he's doing!.
