Pain during intercourse after a yeast infection?!
Question: Pain during intercourse after a yeast infection!?
I'm 21 and have only had a yeast infection many years ago when I was not yet sexually active!. I recently had it a second time, and used the creams and suppositories for a week, which is how long I assumed it would last (since it said 7-day treatment)!. So after the week, the itching and soreness went away, so I attempted intercourse with my boyfriend again, and it was the most incredible pain I've ever felt in that area! I'm terrified that its not the yeast infection, but could it be!? Could it be to blame even though the other symptoms went away!?
Any help is very much appreciated!. Thank you!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should give your body some time to heal!. Just because you finished the 7-day treatment doesn't mean your body is ready to go!. Also, you should contact your doctor to let them know what's going on!. If you self treated, you could have had something other than a yeast infection and the issue was not properly resolved!. Good luck! Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your body probably wasn't ready yet!. If you do something like that too soon it can still irritate it!. My suggestion is wait a little longer and try it again!. If it still hurts, see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If,yeast infection is present itching and soreness is primary!.You should think of other genital infections or allergic reactions to preservatives and spermicides you might have used!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
