Do you think that I can go in the pool tomorrow?!

Question: Do you think that I can go in the pool tomorrow!?
I got my period on July 27th (NOT for the first time), and now I can tell that it's slowing down!. I got a large (but not thick) spot on my pad earlier today, and then I got a medium sized spot!. Now I just have a little bit of blood in my pad and I've had it on for about 1 1/2 hours!. I have until about 1:40 PM tomorrow for it to stop, and I don't want to wear a tampon because I saw this weird rare risk thing on the warning section of the box that could cause death (some how) and it was higher for teens!. (also I've never worn a tampon before and I'm not sure if I plan to) Do you think that it would be safe to go into the pool (without a tampon)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should be fine!. Periods usually only last 8 days tops!. So, I wouldn't worry too much!. But, don't worry about TSS, it is so rare and only happens when girls don't change it often enough!. If it comes to you having to use one, don't be scared!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on how long you normally get your period!. Give it time and if it seems cleared tomorrow then you should be good!. As for being scared to use tampons, don't be!. The warning that is on the box is for something called Toxic Shock Syndrome and you will only get that from improper use of the tampon!. As long as you don't wear your tampon for long periods of time you will not get toxic shock syndrome!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't go in the pool without one!. They are talking about TSS, or toxic shock syndrome!. Its very, very rare! It only happens to about 1 in 3 million women, so you have nothing to worry about! Water slows the flow down a little bit, but you still bleed!. And I know that I wouldn't wanna swim in somebodies period blood! So either wear a tampon, or don't go!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

you really should consider wearing tampons, but i completely understand not wanting to!. i wouldn't worry about the warnings, they're only if you leave the tampon in too long and are rare anyway, but even so, i didnt wear them for about a year after i got my period!.

chances are, you wont bleed in the pool!. being in water stops the flow, and if you're pretty light anyway it wont be an issue!. i've done the same thing, and know people who have!. you dont need to worry about a puddle of blood coming out behind you in the water or anything lol!.
