Question: How come my mom's periods are so stinkin' heavey!?
it seems like every month since she's had my little brother her flow has been heavey and i was wondering is this normal after having a second child!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had always had heavy, painful periods!.!.!.finally after 2 kids, becoming anemic and tired of messing with it I went to my doctor and he put me on birth control pills!. These have completely solved the problem!. Instead of using a box of tampons and pads each month I only use about 5 total!. Tell your mom she doesn't have to put up with it!. I'm sure it's affected her fun!.!.!.!.staying home when it's heaviest and just being miserable each month at that time!. Tell her to get to her doctor and if one thing doesn't help as in maybe one brand of birth control!.!.!.try another!. I tried 2 different ones before being happy with it!. Birth control isn't just for birth control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It just depends on your body!. The women in my family have had periods and cramps so bad that it prevented them from walking and going to school for a little while!. I think its normal, especially toward the road to menopause!. Those last few periods are supposed to/or could get intense!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
