Kind of dumb question about tampons? but i dont know the answer! help??!

Question: Kind of dumb question about tampons!? but i dont know the answer! help!?!?
Okay, sorry if this seems stupid to ask, but honestly!.!.!.
when you put a tampon in, do you push the applicator in too, and then push the tampon in, or just kind of push the tampon out of the applicator, without putting the applicator in you vagina!?

I'm a little confused about using them, since I've always used pads, and I'm getting sick of those, so I wanted to try tampons, but need to know how they work first!

And I did read the directions on the box of tampons I got, but it doesn't really answer my question!.!.!.

thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You push the applicator in as far as you can and then push the tampon in!. That's so the tampon can be completely in and protect you the best!. If it doesn't go in far enough it may fall out or not work as well!. BTW, this isn't a stupid question :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You do not push the applicator in, you hold onto it as you are putting the tampon in!.You will put a portion of the application into your vagina but that end of that application will be held by your finger tips so you will pull it out!. When you buy your first box of tampons they usually have really good directions and information packet inside!. They usually have pictures to show you how to do it!. I have always worn tampons and it is so easy once you start using them!. I couldn't imagine using a pad especially in the summer time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tampons work like sponges!. Dry, they are compact, and easily inserted, As they absorb fluid they increase in length and width!. Wetness makes them easy to remove!.

Push the applicator with the tampon inside, into your vagina!. A good way to get well up inside is to hold the base of the outer tube between your thumb and your middle finger!. When you can feel your vagina with the tips of these two fingers, press upward on the inner tube with the tip of your index finger!. The tampon should slide in easily, and fit comfortably!. A good way to remove a tampon is to tie a granny knot in the end of the string before insertion!. This will make it much easier to grasp the string and pull the tampon out!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i switched to tampons about a year ago,
much better,

when you unwrap it at first dont remove anything or push it,
put it up into your vagina until the most of the top bit of the applicator is covered,
then push the bottom bit into the top while still in your vagina
this puts the tampon in,
then you can remove the applicator as one,Www@Answer-Health@Com

Put the tampon and the applicator in, push in the tampon, and pull out the applicator and other tube!. You shouldn't be able to feel it!. If youc an, it isn't in far enough or it is crooked!. If this happens, try again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
