Is it less sanitary to use an o.b. tampon?!

Question: Is it less sanitary to use an o!.b!. tampon!?
I want to use the o!.b!. ones because it seems like you would have more control with using your finger and such, but was wondering if their less sanitary!? since they don't have an applicator, do they get dirty without being in one!?

anybody know!? have experience!?

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

OB tampons are indivudually wrapped for sanitary purposes!. As long as you throughly wash your hands before inserting one, they are just as sterile as the plastic applicators!.

Plus, you're doing the enviornment a favor by not using a plastic applicator!!!

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

They are still wrapped individually!. If you are completely comfortable with putting a tampon in with your hand, go for it but there are a few things you should consider!. One is that you may end up with blood on your hands and under your fingernails which is nothing fun!. You also might not be able to put it in far enough!. I would stick with the tampons with applicators!. You can still manipulate the tampons by repositioning the applicator while you put the tampon in!. It's just a lot easier and cleaner!. No, i don't think so!. As long as its probably not bouncing around in your purse or backpack by itself, its the same as one with an applicator!. o!.b!. has little travel cases to put them in, so it does the job of an applicator, and stays clean!. yeah, i think the o!.b!. ones are pretty cool, because they seem easier and stuff!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you store them how they tell you on the box, I see no reason why they would be unsanitary!. It is all personal preference!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

They are totally sanitary! I've used them and had no problems!Www@Answer-Health@Com
