Question: I missed 2 pills and now I have a brown discharge
I missed two pills of Levlen ED (One day between the two missed ones) and I didn't take them when I remembered because it was too late afterwards!. But now I have a brown discharge (not heavy but I need to use liners) and I've had it for about 4 days now!.
Is this a sign that my body's out of whack and would it be good to go off the pill for a while!? I've been on it for about 4 years!. I'm not sexually active so there's no worries about getting pregnant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have the discharge because the missed pills caused the hormonal levels to fluctuate!. It's not unusual or abnormal, but it does mean you will have an odd withdrawl bleed when you finish the pack!. You probably won't bleed as much this time, that's all!. You need to finish taking the current pack, though!. Your body is not "out of whack", the hormones are just out of sync slightly!. Continuing the pills will gradually get things back in order, and it will take care of itself by the time you are ready to start your next pack!. Stopping the pill is a decision that is yours alone to make!. If you think it's not likely you will become sexually active, and you are able to commit to using condoms each and every time (which you should be doing anyway)- and you want to stop taking it, then you sure can!. If you took them to regulate a cycle, avoid cramps, etc- then be aware that those problems could again return!. If you really want to make the most informed choice, go talk it over with your gynecologist first!. Weigh up your options, and then decide!. But for now, no- it's normal to see with skipped pills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's because you missed your pills!. The pill totally regulates your body!. By missing pills, you messed up your cycle!. Start taking them at the same time every day again and you should be ok!. If things don't improve, see the doc!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Sounds like your spotting, you know!.!.!.your period!. Spotting can be darker in color, sorta brown not red!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
