Question: The pill microgynon 30
i took my last pill on saturday , its my third pill free day and no period !. i am really worried!.normally i would of got my period this morningWww@Answer-Health@Com

It takes a while!.
When you take the pill, it creates a mucous at your cervix to stop any sperm getting through, so I think that it may just take a while for the mucous to decide to leave!.
It takes 3 or 4 days for mine to come, I get cramps during those days as well!.

I was on the same pill for over 5 years, it had some bad side effects for me like migraines for the full 7 day break and very bad acne!.!.!.hopefully you aren't experiencing any of these!.
Anyway, when I was on it my period used to come around 3rd or 4th day but sometimes it didn't come at all or was very light just a bit of spotting!. I think the longer you are on it the lighter they get, that seemed to be what was happening with me anyway, after 5 years it was virtually nothing!. I much prefer my natural rythum cause it used to be a worry not having any periods you never know if the pill is working!.

I'm on the same pill and lately my period ain't been coming till late on the 3rd day or sometimes on the 4th day!. I always had my period in the morning of the 3rd day then all of a sudden it started to come later!. I didn't question it myself as i ended up with a period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Evilllll!.!. i was on that pill i hated it i had really bad side effects from it!. but when i was on it i didnt get my period till around the 4th day
