Question: Can there be any lasting damage after giving birth, even a year later
I have been getting really strong shooting pains in my ovary area on th left side mainly but sometimes in the right, also cramps (kind of like period cramps)!. I went to the doctors when i started getting a bloody discharge coming away (it was brown), and she said it was normal, but now it's been a few weeks since and that bloody discharge is back, but there are a few streaks of bright red blood too not just brown!. Anyone had something similar or can give me some advice on what to do!? I don't want to go back to the doctors as they will think i am stupid! ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's important you go back!. The symptoms from before have persisted and have also changed, and you are in pain!. You probably need an ultrasound to rule out something like fibroids which can cause pain and bleeding, ovarian cysts or masses or an ectopic pregnancy!. I'd also ask to have a smear done to rule out problems with the cervix!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had a baby 3 years ago and I still get the sensation that a baby is kicking me (like when your unborn child kicks)!.
If you are really worried, you should seek the advice of your GP!. They are there to help you!. If you feel you're not getting anywhere, seek a second opinion!. No one knows your body like you do, if you feel something is wrong and a doctor is doing nothing to fix it, go see another until someone listens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
