Question: What is the best kind of Birth Control to use!?
I'm single and I'm not having sex!. But I know that many people have said that one side affect of going on birth control is gaining weight!. I had my son last September and ever since I had him it seems like I'm losing weight!. I think I'm at 100lbs now!. And I really want to gain some weight but because my mom has a high metabolism, I have it too!. I eat a lot but never seem to gain weight, and I've always wanted to put on a few pounds!. I know it sounds weird but I was thinking since I dont want to take anything that would harm me or cause damage to my body, birth control would be the safest bet!. Any advice would be well appreciated!. Thankyou!. Oh and if you know or have any idea how much the certain types of Birth Control cost that would be great!. I dont have health insurance so I would have to pay for it!. I was thinking about getting the shot which lasts for 3 months I think, my old dr!. told me about it at my after pregnancy checkup in September last yr!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The shot will definitely make you gain weight but it has some side effects like headache and hair loss!. I was on the shot and I gained about 50 pounds but I was little like you and I liked the weight gain!. I don't know where you live but in my state they have this clinic that goes by your income for birth control and I don't pay anything for birth control!. Look in the phone book for the health department in your area and see if they know a place you can go!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You need to see your doctor!.!.!. tell them what you want out of your birth control pill!.!.!. there are SO MANY methods out there!. SO MANY pills!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. i have been on 3 different pill and each one is different than the one before it!.!.!.!. If you want a stronger pill that will get rid of bad cramps, it might make you gain weight!. If you want a pill that wont make you gain weight, you'll get a pill not as strong and you'll have spotting between periods!.!.!.!.!. Definitely get the shot!. I started taking it every 3 months in June 07 its pretty convenient!. All you have to do is show up for your appointment! I've gained over 40 pounds starting at 120!. I'm pretty thick now! But exercise frequently so you don't gain so much weight you can't conrol the fat once you do get it!. It should start showing in 6 months or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I use Yasmin 21!. You need a prescription from your doctor to get it, you can't just buy it off the shelves!. But if you don't like my brand, you can speak to your pharmacist/doctor to get a different brand!. But I don't really think that this is the best way to gain weight, in my own opinion!. Well I used yaz and had some bad side effects with my skin so I had to stop!.
But it did help with my mood swings and cramps!.
I didn't gain weight!. my doctor said it depends on your body if you gain weight or not!.
