Nothing is wrong with you!. I started at 12 and I'm now 23!. My periods wouldn't have been regulated now if I wasn't on birth control!. You're now abnormal!. Most likely in your 20's you could start to regulate!. If it bothers you, since you are not sexual active (good girl), try having your dr!. put you on a low dose birth control pill so that you can come on your cycle like clock work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not saying there is anything wrong, but I would see your doctor!. If you aren't sexually active, then obviously you aren't pregnant!. I know you plan on staying abstinent until marriage, but you may want to look into getting put on birth control pills!. They can help regulate your cycle!. Every 28 days!. It helped me!. I have always had issues with my period too!. mine are opposite of yours though heavy and really long only about 1 week apart!. there are millions of us women with abnormal periods, unless you are in alot of pain I wouldnt worry!. If you are very worried about it go to the dr and make sure evrything is ok that is the only way to know for sure! Nobody will be able to tell you indefinitely over the internet!. best wishesWww@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you could go to ur doctor just to be sure!.!.!.they may well put you on the pill just to regulate them!. Mine are a bit irreguar, sometimes its about 21 days inbetween, sometimes 31, but going for months without is quite unusual seeng as you started when you were 13!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its shouldt be a problem!. Im also 17 and i started at 13 to!. My period is 7 days long! and its never regular!. i do get one every month but sometimes it carries over in to the next month!. Every body has its own schedule it just takes some longer than others to get regulated!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am going through the same thing!. Iam 17, started when i was 13 and still have irregular periods!. like i skipped the month of july and got it today!.!.!.i think its a hormonal imbalance and if you get on birth control it will make your periods regular!. so its okay!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you may have a hormonal imbalance!. Birth control might help to regulate your periods!. You should see a gynecologist and talk to her about it!. I don't think it is anything serious!.

Good for you that you want to wait! Smart girl!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't be too worried about it!. How long it takes for a period to become regular changes from girl to girl!. But if it has been four years, you might want to consider asking your doctor about it, just to be safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mine were irregular from age 11 to age 18, and that's only because I got on the pill to regulate my periods!.

You can be irregular all your life and its ok!. If you are concerned talk to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My friend was like that but over time it became more regular!.!.!.some she skip her periods your fine!.!.!.it takes time for your body to adjust make an appointment with your doctor if your still worried!.!.!.
