Question: Has anyone ever had an ovarian cyst removed!?
i'm due to have mine removed at the end of august and just wanted to know of any experiences (good or bad) that anyone else has had!? did you suffer complications!? did you have to have an ovary or anything else removed too!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had this operation a long time ago and ended up with half an ovary, it was done by laparoscopy, which helps with healing time, i was absolutely fine,while this was being done they also found endometriosis to my surprise, i function very well with the half of overy, the one you have left will work ok, you might notice some changes like not producing enough hormone, you must ask questions when you are in hospital, they will give you good advise of what to expect, its a straight forward procedure, they will have a good look round to see if there are any other problems, if they find anything else that needs tratment they will speak to you before your op as they need concent to be able to treat anything else they find if thats the case, good luck hun, dont worry its quite straight forward, get well soon!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com
my friend had that and since then there weren't any serious complications, the only thing is that her periods aren't always monthly, they're just at weird times and sometimes 2 within 2 weeks and sometimes none 4 2 months, that kind of thing!. But don't worry it all should be good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
