When this happends the Estrogen Levels in your body are really high !. !. !. !.But this is pretty normal!. Its Old blood !. But , infections can cause spotting before your period , but theres usually other symptoms that go along with it!. Umm I have been getting brown discharge lately and I am not sure if it is my period, but of course it's normal!. I asked my mom who knows a lot, due to medical things!. No STD, she probably thought of chlamydia which is totally different, and signs are different!. It is the old lining of your uterus!. It will pass once the flow of blood begins to become more heavy!.
Hope that helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not STDs but i totally thought that my first period too!.!. i was like PLEASE dont let it be STDs because there was no actual blood!. But yeah, you will usually get that at the beginning and end of each period!.!. sometimes just a couple hours before or a day before or something!.!. Its just a little bit of dried up blood mixed with regular discharge!. Kind of nice because then you get some warning its coming!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's normal for the brown discharge before or after ANY period!.!.!.!.

While it could be an STD, I'd hope at 13 and you just having your first period you haven't engaged in any sexual activityWww@Answer-Health@Com

SO COMPLETELY NORMAL!.

You should not believe everything your friends say!. This has nothing to do with an STD!. You need to have SEX to contract an STD!.
