Question: Is This Normal Behavior!?!?
This is quite embarrassing but i need to know, why do i have such long gaps between my periods!? I'm 13 and i haven't had sex so i'm not pregnant!. But i'll have a period that will last for 5/6 days (which is normal for me) and then 3/4 months later i'll have another one! I'm really worried!. Does anyone have an answer to why it does this!?

This is very normal for girls who are just starting to have their cycle!. Your body is just not yet fully mature and your hormones have not regulated yet!. I would mention this to your doctor if you are really that concerned!. I am the mother of 4 girls and my 2 oldest (22 and 13) both went through the same thing!.!. as did I!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
sounds normal to me!.!.!. irregular periods are normal in the first few years!.!.!. but if it continues for say 2 more years then i would see your doctor!. My daughter was irregular for a year or so!.!. now shes like clockwork!. And i was the same when i first got mine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When you start your periods can be irregular for up 2 2 years!. If you are very sporty or very over/under weight this can also effect your regularityWww@Answer-Health@Com

when you are young, your periods can be very irregular!. they will settle down in time!. quit worrying!.
