Answers:
ok since you are a virgin it might be that your hymen (a small stretch of skin across your vagina) could be blocking the opening of your vagina and making it difficult to insert the tampon!. You should take a small mirror and look around!. You need to learn your body and be comfortable and familiar with it!. If your hymen is still intact you should be able to move it aside this might hurt a bit if it tears but it wont harm you!. Some girls are already torn from sports, exercise or sex!. Depending on how thick your hymen is you might have no pain or alot!. Tips:
1) get into a comfortable position!. Try one foot up on the bathtub or toilet or try squatting!.

2)be sure the you are relaxed take a few deep breaths!. If your tense your muscles will be too and it will make it harder to insert the tampon!.

3)when you position the tampon before you put it in make sure that it is at an angle!. Imagine aiming it towards your lower back!. Dont aim it straight up because your vagina isnt made that way!.
hope this helps and if you have any more questions feel free to ask

Well first you should try to relax, if you aren't relaxed your muscles may tighten up and it will make it harder to get the tampon in right!. You should also be bleeding enough for everything to be rather lubricated which will make it easier to insert!. You may want to try a tampon like the playtex plastic pearl, these are a bit smoother and better shaped than the cardboard ones so they may be easier to learn how to use (cardboard ones aren't so bad later though), start off with getting the regular ones or the light ones, the super and super plus will be a lot bigger!.
To insert it try standing with one foot on the toilet lid or even the sink, make sure you get the whole top part in before pushing in the bottom which will push the tampon out of the applicator, then of course remove the applicator being careful not to tug on the string!. When it is in right you shouldn't even be able to feel it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because you are new to tampons, it may be difficult to insert them!. One tip is to buy the slim sizes!. I had the same problem once, and I bought the slim size instead of the regular and I was fine!. Also, buying tampons with plastic applicators makes it easier to insert!. Most boxes come with a little pamphlet on how to insert them, so make sure you are doing it properly!. Sometimes girls use a mirror to help you get use to doing it!. When they are inserted, it shouldn't feel uncomfortable or painful!.

I would also wear a pad with your tampon just in case you leak!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

augh! ik ur frustration!. i'm 16 and have had major tampon issues!.!.!. im still not a fan!. my best advice is to only try it when you period is heaviest (like the 2nd or 3rd day), otherwise the tampon will be dry and that makes it uncomfortable and harder to come out!. make sure you are inserting it in far enough!.!.!. as long as there's string, you don't have to worry about losing it in there, so push it in pretty far! after you have it in, squeeze your thighs together then walk around a little bit!. it shouldn't be too uncomfortable!. give it a half hour, and if it is still uncomfortable, you might want to ask your gynocologist on your next visit or wait to use them until you can talk to someone in person!. also, insert and take it out while you sit on the toilet, that way your legs wont be tense!. good luck and be sure to try a few different brands and sizes!. this could also be what's the problem!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Heya,
You may be worried and nervous about using your first tampon!. Talk to your mom or a friend who has used tampons!. It is important to first learn how to use a tampon and then, just relax! The more you relax, the easier the insertion will be!. When you are nervous, your muscles tense up, making insertion even harder!. For your first time, you may want to try using a tampon when your menstrual flow is heavy; this should allow the tampon to glide in more easily!. Choose the smallest size tampon for the first time!. By following these simple guidelines, and those that come with your package of tampons, your first experience with tampons should be easy!.

Sit or stand in a comfortable position!. Some women prefer to place one leg on the toilet seat or tub, while others prefer to squat down!. After you find a position that is most comfortable for you, hold the tampon with the fingers that you write with!. Hold the middle of the tampon, at the spot where the smaller, inner tube inserts into the larger, outer tube!. Make sure the string is visible and pointing away from your body!.
With your other hand, open the labia (the folds of skin around the vaginal opening) and position the tampon in the vaginal opening!.
Gently push the tampon into the opening, aiming for the small of your back!. Stop when your fingers touch your body and the applicator, or outer tube, is completely inside the vagina!.
Once the applicator or outer tube is inside of you, use your index finger to push the inner tube (the tube where the removal string is visible) through the outer tube!. This pushes the tampon into the vagina!.
Once the inner tube is all the way in, use your thumb and middle finger to remove the applicator or outer tube!.Make sure that the string hangs outside of the vaginal opening!. Later, when you are ready to remove the tampon, hold the string and gently pull it downward until the entire tampon is out!.
If the tampon is inserted correctly, you should not feel it!. If you feel uncomfortable in any way, you may have inserted the tampon incorrectly or the tampon may not be placed far enough into the vagina!. If this happens, just remove the tampon and start again with a new tampon!. Remember that practice makes perfect!. If you don't get it on the first try, your second try will most likely be successful!. Instead of getting frustrated and giving up, relax and try again!

Why havent i succeeded using a tampon!?
If you don't succeed after several times, see your health care provider!. It may be that you were born with a very small opening in your hymen and you can't insert tampons!. This is true in only about 2percent of teens, but it could be a problem!.
A mirror is often helpful so that you can see where your vaginal opening is!. Sometimes, even using a small amount of vaginal lubricant (K-Y Jelly) on the end of the tampon will help the first one glide in!.

Hope i helped and take care and good luck!
( if you want some detailed instructions there is some instructions in the box that your tampons come in)
