Question: How do you tell your mom you need a bra!?
I'm getting breast buds and it shows through my shirts alot!. My mom isn't really giving me "growing up info" so it's hard to talk to her!. Plus any advice for a bra with a white shirt!? A white polo is my school uniform and that's embarrassing!. I'm afraid people will be like OMG SHE HAS ONE TOO!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok if you wear a white bra with a white shirt it wont show!. dont listen to what other people say every girl wears a bra eventually plus when you get into middle school or high school you have to "dress out" for P!.E!. where you change in front of everyone!. well at least girls!. so go up to your mom and say "mom i think its time for me to wear bras" i walked up to my mom and said i went to the store with my friends and tryed on bras can you buy me some!. i hope i helped dont be afraid to ask your mom stuff she went threw it toWww@Answer-Health@Com
First off, as for the white uniform shirt/bra issue, there are many camisole/tank top shirts with built in bras, which provides enough support for you!. Under your uniform, it will look like a regular undershirt and can be found everywhere - from Target to Ltd II!. As for talking to your mother, the discomfort of initiating the conversation will be far less than the relief you'll feel once you establish the dialogue!. You may want to ask your mother at what age she was when she started wearing a bra and let the conversation proceed from there!. She'll be happy you came to her!.!.!.and you'll be happy you did once the words roll off your tongue!. You could also use the built in bra camisole as the opener for your conversation!.!.!.ask her opinion!. Trust me, the best compliment an adolescent can give their mom is asking for their opinion! If I were you I would also approach your Mom and tell her exactly how you feel!. Just like you did here!.
She went through the same thing when she was going through puberty so hopefully she will be open and understanding to you!.
If for some reason you absolutely can not communicate with your Mom then maybe you should try someone else like another relative or a close friend of your Mom's!.
Do give your Mom the chance though, she might be easier to talk to than you realize!.
You could get a sports bra as mentioned, or a regular bra and then wear a camisole over it!.
Don't be embarrassed , this is normal and a beautiful natural thing to be going through!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had that problem in 7th grade and i did not want to tell my mom and u had to wear a uniform too!. and so when i went to the store with her we were going past the bra section and i grabed a small one and i was like i need this and she was like okay get 2!. it took a while to build up the courage to say it!. but just say it u will be happy you did!. and when u wear a uniform wear a shirt under it!. and most girls wear them so dont worry =]

I had the same problem with my mom when I was your age!. I would get bras from my friends because I was too embarrassed to ask my mom!. Go shopping together and then say, "I think I need to get a bra while we are here"!. That's what I did and I so relieved when she just said ok let's go get one!. A beige or nude colored bra is good for white shirt!. Don't worry about people saying that you got a bra!. Most girls will be getting them soon if they haven't already!. What i did was, when you too are shopping and walking by the bras, grab what size you think you need and say mom look at this cute one, can i try it on and get it!? It works trust me! If you are wearing white wear a white bra it is almost invisible!.

just come right up to her and tell her!. maybe to emphasize the point wear a tight, white shirt when you tell her!. for the white polo, try getting white or skin color bras, that way you can't see the colors!. hope this helps :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

try telling her you dont feel comfortable getting changed for PE with nothing on!. So you would like something so that you are covered up in front of your class mates!. That should do the trick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
